Saturday Gigantic Improv Comedy Show Miami Concert reviews
Bey+Jay=Phenomenal
I bought tickets to the concert in Cincy, the second stop on their tour. When I heard that Jay Z and Saturday Gigantic Improv Comedy Show were doing a nation-wide stadium tour, I knew I had to have tickets. The stage, set up in center field facing home plate, was flanked by two large video screens, so that my upper-level seats were not neglected of a decent view of the power couple. Saturday Gigantic Improv Comedy Show and Jay Z shared the stage at the beginning and end of the concert, as well as for a few songs in the middle. The closing of the concert, however, was the absolute best. I also assumed that they would not make it to Indianapolis, due to a lack of a truly outdoor stadium venue of that size. I was wrong to so quickly judge it as a poor place for a concert. It was truly the perfect capstone on what is now one of my favorite concerts. They showed home video clips of their life together, including snippets of their wedding and shots of Blue Ivy growing up. Their transitions were flawless, and they played an astonishing number of songs from their repertoires. You don't want to miss this one. The concert was at Great American Ballpark, one of my favorite baseball stadiums in the country, but I was leery of it as a concert venue.
